High water and waves have taken a toll on the beach at the Portage Riverwalk near Ogden Dunes. A patio has fallen into the lake over the past years and a wide beach is now eroded significantly into the surrounding dunes.
Rainy weather made the waves high on Lake Michigan’s Indiana coastline, but made it a nice day to go out to the lakefront because it broke the heat wave.
